What you need
tomatillo

onion

garlic

tbsp olive oil

cup dried chili peppers

tbsp salt

cup water
Instructions
0 In a skillet, char tomatoes and tomatillos on all sides. 1 Halfway through the charring of the tomatoes and tomatillos, add onion and garlic to the skillet. 2 Cook for 1 minute. 3 Remove garlic. 4 Let everything cook for 1-2 minutes more, or until onion is translucent. 5 With your spatula, move the tomatoes and tomatillos on their sides, making sure they char on all sides. 6 Remove everything from the skillet and set aside until ready to use. 7 In a clean skillet, add oil and dried chile de arbol. 8 If you like it spicier, add more chile. 9 Cook for 1 minute. 10 Do not let this burn, or it will be bitter. 11 Place all the chile de arbol and as much of the oil from the skillet in a blender. 12 Add the tomatoes, tomatillos, onion, garlic, salt, and water to the blender. 13 Blend until smooth. 14 Pour into a salsa bowl. 15 Enjoy!View original recipe
