cup water

anise

cup milk

can evaporated milk

can sweetened coconut

tbsp vanilla extract

10 Rinse the rice in water. 0 To a large stockpot, add the rice, 4 cups water, cinnamon stick, and anise. 1 Cover and cook for 12-14 minutes over medium heat. 9 Most of the liquid should have evaporated. 11 If not, cook for a few more minute until most of the liquid is gone. Be careful not to burn. 2 Discard the cinnamon sticks and anise. 3 Add milk, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, raisins, and vanilla to the rice pot. 4 Stir to mix. 5 Bring to a simmer on low-medium heat. 12 Cook for 5 minutes. 7 Turn heat off. 8 Serve and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.View original recipe
