cup milk

cup butter

cup shredded cheddar

1 Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. 9 Add 1 tsp salt to the pot. 8 Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. 10 Simmer until tender, about 15-20 minutes. 11 Poke with a fork after 15 minutes. If they are fork tender, they are ready. 12 Cooking time varies, depending on the size of the potatoes.
