What you need

Instructions
To Make the Sauce: 1 Place the tomatillos, jalapenos, onion, and garlic in a stock pot. 2 Cover with water, enough to cover all the ingredients. 3 Bring to a boil. About 5 minutes. 4 After it's cooled down slightly, place all the ingredients in a blender. 5 Blend until smooth. 0 Set aside until ready to use. To Cook the Pork: 6 Add the pork, onion, garlic cloves, oregano, salt, and bay leaf to a large stock pot. 7 Cover with water and simmer on medium heat in the stock pot for about 90 minutes. 8 Remove any impurities that may have cooked from the pork with a slotted spoon. 10 Discard the onion, garlic, and bay leaf from your simmered pork pot. Assembling the Pozole: 11 Add the green tomatillo sauce and hominy to the pot. 12 Stir to combine. 13 Cook for and additional 10 minutes. 17 Serve with your favorite toppings.View original recipe
